How does ColorReader set the system tolerance method

How does ColorReader set the system tolerance method?ColorReader is a new type of chromatic aberration meter, which has most of the main functions of chromatic aberration meter.But relatively small and small, easy to carry, can be anywhere at any time in the field of color difference detection.

A certain tolerance range needs to be set when color aberration meter is used for color control and detection.Because the tolerance range is artificially set, it has some flexibility.Theoretically speaking, when the industry requirements are relatively strict, the tolerance range of the user is set very small, that is, the tolerance of the color is very small, the color difference control is very strict.On the contrary, when the industry for color tolerance is large, the requirement is not very high, the tolerance value is set relatively large.

Of course, the above is only the tolerance setting of the color detection instrument from the theoretical application of the industry, but when setting the tolerance, other factors need to be considered.

First of all, when setting the tolerance, the importance of the application field of the sample to be tested must be considered, such as the use of the sample. If it is used to test the standard sample of other samples, the tolerance setting range is very strict.Only standard samples manufactured with high standards and strict requirements can be used to compare, test and measure other samples.

Secondly, the tolerance range should be determined according to the importance of the position of the component under test in practical application.When some finished products are dismantled, we will find that some parts are in a conspicuous position, while some parts are not easy to be noticed. We can set the tolerance range according to the importance of their position.In addition, if two parts are adjacent, their tolerance limits must be strictly controlled.

In addition, when setting tolerance, the color tone of the measured object is also a factor to be considered.For example, even with the same color difference values ∆E*ab, for plain colors such as white or silver, the human eye is sensitive to even the faintest color difference in the tone; in other words, the color difference in the luminance factor (∆L*) is not easily detectable.

For bright colors, the chroma difference is not too sensitive to the human eye. For plain colors, it is necessary to control ∆L*, ∆a*, ∆b* and not just ∆E*ab, such as silver, where the difference in brightness (∆L*) is less detectable than the difference in tone (∆a*, ∆b*).Therefore, the tolerance of ∆L* can be controlled relatively loosely, and the tolerance of ∆ A * and ∆ B * should be controlled more strictly.

Example of setting range of color difference and grooming difference standard:

When the color difference and appearance difference value is set to above 4.0, very large color difference is unacceptable in most applications;

When the color difference and appearance difference value is set to 2.0 to 4.0, the larger color difference is acceptable in specific applications;

When the color difference and appearance difference value is set to 1.0 to 2.0, medium color difference is acceptable in certain applications;

Minor to moderate color difference is acceptable in some applications when the color difference is set to 0.5 to 1.0;

When the color difference and grooming difference value is set to 0.25 to 0.5, small color difference, acceptable match;

When the color difference and appearance difference value is set to 0 to 0.25, the color difference requirements are very small or no, this kind of industry belongs to the color quality requirements of the industry is very precise.

The default tolerance setting of general chromaticity meter is 1.0, which can be adjusted according to the requirements of the industry.The tolerance value of chromatic aberration in most industries is about 0.6, and few can reach 0.3.
